![]() The Breeding Bengal Queen needs a space for privacy when her kittens are newborn to about 3 -4 weeks of age. She will become stressed if this privacy is not provided. In some extreme cases, the Bengal Queen has injured her kittens trying to move them when stressed out. To the right is a fancy example of a Queen pen. You can use almost any area that is quiet, clean and private. When the kittens get older, you will need to provide an area for them to play and exercise. But this doesn't occur until they are 4 or more weeks of age. |

This is an example of a walk-in pen built for the Bengal Queen and the Bengal Cat Litter within your home. Just section off a room or corner and build an enclosure. Just be sure to cover the sides to provide privacy during the early weeks of a kittens life. An extra large brand new litter box works well for a queening area. It provides privacy for the litter and can be easily cleaned. |
